I chose to call this page “The Fibromyalgia Project” for at least three reasons:
- Anyone that is dealing with Fibromyalgia knows that it’s not something that you just seem to snap out of. It is a project, with a number of things that help, a host of things that can cause difficulties or setbacks, and every day can be very different from the previous day.
- I like to use the word “project” anytime I can, instead of calling a person’s experience illness, disease, syndrome, or any other word you can think of. Words are important, because words create pictures, and pictures create our lives. We’re all used to taking on projects, and what is required to plan for success and perform the necessary steps to be successful in any human endeavor.
- The Fibromyalgia Project is a project for me personally to learn as much as I can to help as many as I can.
There is much to be said about what can be done to help people with Fibromyalgia projects of their own, and this page will be a springboard for things to come.
I would like to leave you with this one thought: You may not be able to make one change that will make your life 100% better, but there very easily could be 100 things that you can do that will each add 1% improvement to the completion of your “project”.
